Strong schools are the foundation of a thriving community. On February 10, 2026, we have the opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to the students of the Edmonds School District. By voting YES on Proposition 1, we are voting to protect the quality education, safety, and well-being of every child in our neighborhoods.

There is often confusion surrounding school levies. Let’s be clear: Proposition 1 is a replacement levy. It is not an additional tax on top of what you are currently paying.

Local Control: This levy allows our community to decide that our children deserve more than the bare minimum.

A school is an ecosystem. When you vote YES on Prop. 1, you are maintaining the funding for the essential people, places, and programs that ensure our students are safe, supported, and challenged.

Health & Wellness Experts: Nurses who manage chronic conditions and emergencies, and counselors who provide vital mental health support and social-emotional learning.

2. Essential Opportunities: Beyond the Textbook

Active Living: Athletics programs that teach sportsmanship, discipline, and physical health.

Every child learns differently, and every child has different dreams. To prepare students for the modern workforce and higher education, we must maintain diverse academic pathways. Your vote funds:

The Edmonds School District is seeking voter approval of Proposition 1, a replacement Educational Programs & Operations (EP&O) Levy, in the February 2026 special election. This local measure continues existing funding that supports essential school services not fully funded by the state, helping ensure students have access to safe, well-staffed schools and the programs they rely on every day. Vote YES on Proposition 1 this February.
